• More Than Just Words

For evil to triumph, it only needs that the good do nothing.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

The question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be. The nation and the world are in dire need of creative extremists.

Where Are You Getting Your Information From?

In a previous post, Paul Watson was quoted stating that, “The cause of this mayhem cannot be traced to any legitimate political grievance, it is almost entirely the product of a diseased culture, fostered by multinational corporations and the celebrity-obsessed entertainment industry, that brainwashes young people to aspire to lifestyles they can never possibly attain.” Although I agree with his opinion about the mayhem being a product of the things he describes, I don’t agree that it was “entirely due to”. I’d also question why the shooting of a man by police snipers during a police operation and the subsequent fabrication of evidence by the police doesn’t constitute a “legitimate political grievance”.

As with so many commentators about the riots, those commenting appear to only have an intellectual comprehension of the reasons they put forward. I’m not  disagreeing with their analysis and opinions. What’s obvious though, is that their worlds are so far removed from the inner city streets and estates about which they seem to feel so qualified to comment.

Unless you live in the kind of area that experienced unrest over the weekend, and have lived there for sometime, believe me when I say you have no idea. People dependent on state welfare have been a convenient scapegoat for many an election period., those “malingering, work-shy, spongers,” but what is it really like to live in a borough with one of the highest levels of unemployment in the country and have to compete with every rare-as-rocking-horse-shit job with 49 other desperate people?

Which isn’t to suggest that those engaged in last weekend’s town trashing were comprised of solely benefits claimants (despite media hints and leading statements in that direction), or that benefits claimants are the only ones feeling the tightening of the thumbscrews. We all are, that is, all of us lower levels of the social pyramid. As pointed out in Psyclone:

Society is run like a pyramid, control ascending from the plebs at the bottom into less and less hands, becoming increasingly centralised until at the top you have the elite of the mega-corporations and the military-industrial complex, not called moguls and barons for nothing.

The pressure created over time and accelerated recently that spilled over into not just the riots in London, but most of the other incidents of civil unrest around the world like Greece, Ireland, Tunisia, and, and… is a result of maneuvering by those ‘moguls and barons’, that narrow percentage of elite individuals and groups at the top of the pyramid who are orchestrating events like stock market crashes and armed conflicts.

Those who (still) scoff at the mention of elite world controllers should check out this entry from the appendix of Psyclone:

They Rule

A few companies control much of the economy and oligopolies exert control in nearly every sector of the economy. The people who head up these companies swap on and off the boards from one company to another, and in and out of government committees and positions. These people run the most powerful institutions on the planet. This is not a conspiracy. They are proud to rule. And yet these connections of power are not always visible to the public eye. They Rule is a starting point for research about these powerful individuals and corporations.

A further look at other publicly available information regarding the connections between congress and parliament and the mega corporations and international banks involved in every instance of armed conflict and financial strife currently blighting the planet should stop the scoffing and talk of conspiracy theory.

While we’re on the subject of involvement, do you really think that the civil unrest that we saw reported over the weekend, and have been seeing reported from around the world is free of any devious behind-the-scenes provocateuring by elements within governmental structures? For sure, the initial riot on Saturday night in Tottenham was triggered by police assaulting a teenage girl, but the subsequent rioting and looting carry more than a hint of opportunistic mischief. The ‘criminal elements’ I’m referring to in this instance are to be found in respectable institutions nationally and internationally.

What seems like spontaneous revolutions around the world, especially in the Middle East actually appear to have been strategically planned events, fabricated by ‘revolution consultants’ long in advance.

Revolution consultants are the worst nightmare of every regime. Srdja Popovic was a founder of the organisation ‘Otpor’, a revolution training school. It was instrumental in the overthrow of Slobodan Milosevic in the 1990s and has now inspired a new generation of activists. Political commentators like William Engdahl are convinced Otpor is being financed by the USA. “The people from Otpor gave us a book in which they described all their strategies”, says Ezzedine Zaatour of the Tunisian uprising. That book was written by an American, Gene Sharp, and is now considered the “revolution guide book”, being used by opposition movements worldwide. As Optor release their latest gadget, a resistance training computer game sponsored by American organisations, world leaders are voicing their concerns. “This is called a gentle coup!”, insists Hugo Chavez.

The following 27-minute Journeyman Productions documentary examines the issue further.

In Britain there is an organisation called Common Purpose, which identifies itself as an ‘educational charity’. But evidence shows that Common Purpose is rather more than a Charity ‘empowering’ people and communities’. In fact, CP is an elitest pro-EU political organisation helping to replace democracy in UK, and worldwide, with CP chosen ‘elite’ leaders. In truth, their hidden networks and political objectives are undermining and destroying our democratic society and are threatening ‘free will’ in adults, teenagers and children with their use of neurolinguistic programming and hypnosis techniques. Their work is funded by public money and big business, including international banks.

Browsing the websites Common Purpose Exposed and Stop Common Purpose will provide material which calls into question the potential synchronised motivation of various upper echelon members of British governing and media bodies, like, for example, this 100 name list of, mostly senior, BBC employees who are members of the organisation

It also seems as though the police, and I’m referring to the uniformed ones here, also manipulated events with a purposeful lack of response, specifically and generally, that can only be described as measured. Over the past few years the police have become adept at handling protests, be they anti-globalisation demonstrations or student demonstrations. During those years there has never been an occasion where riot police have not responded in a coordinated and decisive manner, having honed their crowd control techniques since the days of the Poll Tax riots and anti-Criminal Justice Act demonstrations. To hear that buildings were left to burn because police couldn’t protect fire services from being attacked by rioters seriously stretches my credulity. In fact, I don’t believe it, and have yet to come across any evidence to support the media-bandied claim.

Since the writing of this article it has now been confirmed by sources within Scotland Yard who said police were ordered to “stand and observe”.

“They had apparently been told to try and contain any violence but not to haul away offenders who would instead be identified through video footage later,” reports the Daily Mail.

The decision to order police to stand down is being explained as a reaction to public outcry following the death of Ian Tomlinson, a newspaper seller who was killed by riot cops during the G20 summit in 2009.

However, as this website exhaustively documents, authorities routinely allow chaos to spiral out of control, even to the extent of hiring their own provocateurs, in order to manipulate the public into demanding greater police state measures that ultimately only serve to oppress legitimate dissent against the state.

The police’s inadequate response quickly led to calls for martial law, curfews and the use of water cannons on streets in England for the first time, a power that Prime Minister David Cameron has now authorised.

Returning to the title of this post, where are you getting your information from? I pointed out earlier how various senior members of the BBC are members of a questionable group that use neurolinguistic programming and hypnosis techniques to achieve their ends. Hopefully this will encourage people to look more carefully at the language used by that outlet. Recent scandal surrounding Rupert Murdoch should have alerted people to the criminality of the man, yet most take the ‘news’ that comes out of outlets owned by Murdoch’s News Corp as fact; outlets that in Britain include The Sun, The News of the World, The Times and The Sunday Times newspapers, and TV outlets BSkyB and ITV.

I’ll end this post with another quote from the appendix of Psyclone:

Knowledge is power. The simplicity of the statement conceals its implications. Basically, the more you know, the bigger your advantage; the less you know, the bigger your disadvantage. For that reason restriction and suppression of information is a very basic social control technique. Very basic and very easy given that control of the media has been consolidated into such few hands. Failing to consider the aims and effects of the overall media output, as well as its detail, is dangerously naïve. Even a cursory glance at facts reveals mainstream media’s worrying links, policies and agendas. Whatever you see on television, hear on the radio, or read in the newspapers has been, at the very least, allowed. More often than not though, it has been meticulously designed using principles of behavioural psychology and linguistics toward very specific aims. Put another way, if your channels of information are confined to those listed above, then your awareness, your reality, is being manipulated and compromised.

The purpose of this post/this blog/Psyclone the novel is to encourage people to stop and think outside the box, and too look deeper into any given subject and further afield for information sources.

Knowledge is power. Your ignorance is their bliss.
